Paradise Park, Islington

The Paradise Park Children's Centre in Islington features a living green wall. The entire front facade of the building and parts of the side are planted with a range of herbaceous plants including Heuchara, Valerian, Euphorbia, Ajuga and Geranium. The plants are planted into a frame and irrigated via a hydroponics based system. The building collects rainwater to use for watering. The building also has a brown 'rubble' roof in order to recreate waste ground habitat.
